I’ve tried many times, but cannot seem to get you out of my mind. You are all I think about. I know now that I fell hopelessly in love with you from the first moment I saw you. I can still so vividly remember how my knees grew weak when I first looked into those beautiful eyes of yours and how my body trembled when you brushed by me.

I truly believe that once in a lifetime, you can meet someone with whom you know instantly that you want to spend the rest of your life with. That is how I feel about you and I can no longer imagine life without you. I sense that we share the many of the same beliefs and our feelings seem to be so much in tune with each other.

The way you talk about things, your experiences, your inner thoughts and that radiant smile of yours—everything about you is so unbelievably comfortable to me. Not only do I feel such love for you, I really believe that we could be the very best of friends. I know I would drop everything in an instant, to help you anytime you are ever in need.

Soon I will be going __(name of place/back to my country/etc.)__, but it will only be for a __(# weeks/months)__. I have been told by my company __(briefly describe what they told you of this mission/project – i.e. that once I get there I will soon after be assigned the leadership role of the international division and will be sent back (name of place) to assume that position)__. Even though this time away will only be for a short while, I know that I will still miss you immensely.

Having you in my life is all I dream of. Though I hope that you feel the same way about me, I would never want to pressure you into something you’re not ready for. I can sense that the hurt of your past still weighs heavily upon your heart and I want you to know that you can take all the time you need. I will still be here for you and will make sure that we don`t lose touch while I’m away.
