Many nights I lay and wonder why I gave my heart to someone like you. How could I have fallen in love with someone who could never feel the same way about me? I wonder why I was such a fool. To make matters worse, you knew it too.

How could you have lied to me about your feelings knowing that you were crushing my heart? What makes a person so callus? Now here I am, left shivering, with the cold emptiness of my heart.. left to forever wonder why I fell in love with someone like you.

I can only hope that time will be gracious to me by allowing my heart to heal soon.
